Sultans of manga
Founded by Ben Vandewaele, the gallery highlights rare and historic works by masters such as Osamu Tezuka, Jiro Kuwata and Hiroshi Kaizuka.
More than 100 original pieces are on display, along with a library area, portfolios and publications to provide a deeper understanding of the context of the works. The selection aims to celebrate the golden age of manga while remaining accessible to enthusiasts and the curious, without falling into ostentatious exclusivity.
Sultans of Manga aims to elevate manga to the status of art, by showing the aesthetic and historical value of these originals.
